Christmas 2022 I was involved with three different projects. I directed and composed a school tour with Hopscotch Theatre Company of Jack and the Beanstalk by Isla Cowan. This show, with three casts, toured to around 150 venues across Scotland. 

I wrote Cinderella for PACE theatre company in Paisley. This was a rip-roaring pantomime directed by Daniel Cameron with music by Alan Orr that was performed in a specially created theatre space in a shopping centre right in the heart of Paisley. There's a nice write-up of the show here where I am generously described as "one of the top comedy writers in the country."

I also wrote the script for Santa's Little Astronaut, a fun mini-musical for mini humans (3-5 year olds) directed by Niloo-Far Khan with music by Gary Cameron. In her 4**** review for The Scotsman Joyce McMillan says "it’s hard to imagine a more enjoyable 50 minutes of Christmas fun, full of colour and incident, and with a powerful storyline driving the action to a thoroughly happy ending."
